Screening of historic Navajo weaving films from the MNA Archives. Some films will feature the
Deschinny family of Oak Springs, Arizona. The Director of the NAU Cinema and Visual Culture Studies Program, Dr. Janna Jones, will introduce the films and talk about the significance of amateur films and the importance of these films to the MNA Collections. Mark Ha'a'ahnii Deschinny will offer his interpretation of the films and will also share his knowledge of the weaving world.

Admission is free with regular museum admission.
