 (From the Milton Snow Collection)
Background The MNA Archival Photographs consist of approximately 250,000 negatives, glass plates, color transparencies, lantern slides, photographic prints, photogravures, and mounted photographic displays covering a time span from the late nineteenth century to the present.

Primary subject matter includes prehistoric and historic Southwestern archaeology, ethnology of American Indians of the Southwest, museum artifacts, specimens, displays, and exhibits. Additional material documents Southwestern and Arizona history, and the ecology and environment of the Colorado Plateau.

While original materials are noncirculating, they may be viewed on the premises. Digital image scans may be ordered through the MNA Archives Department. A policy statement and price list covering both nonprofit and commercial fees is available.
