Amber King, Registrar

Amber has been working with museum collections since 1999. Her experience crosses varied collection types – everything from fine arts to natural history specimens. She completed graduate work and earned a Certificate in Museum Management from the University of South Carolina’s Public History Program and holds a BA in Anthropology and History and BFA in Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University.  Previously she had the pleasure of working at the Chicago Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, the McFaddin-Ward House, the Columbia Museum of Art and the McKissick Museum.
