This courtyard was originally designed in 1935 by Museum co-founder, Harold S. Colton. During the summer, it is home to demonstrating artists at the Museum's Heritage Festivals, a summer concert series, and other special events. In the fall, vibrant and beautiful ofrendas (altars) line the courtyard at the annual Celebraciones de la Gente Festival (pictured above). The courtyard is named in memory of Jaime Major Golightly (1977-1996).
