In 1985, Museum of Northern Arizona members Frances McAllister, Eileen Lungé, and Diane Miller formed "The Muses," a volunteer-support organization dedicated to advancing MNA’s mission to “inspire love and responsibility for the Colorado Plateau."
Today The Muses is an organization of women and men who take advantage of the many learning experiences and volunteer opportunities made available through membership in MNA. The Muses support group is active in educating Sedona area residents and visitors about the art, archaeology, geology, biology, and cultures of the Colorado Plateau region—especially Native American and Hispanic/Latino cultures.
The Muses meet each month, September through May, on the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m.
Sedona United Methodist Church
