Samantha Honanie, Visitor Experience Manager
Samantha Honanie (Hopi/Diné) is the Visitor Experience Manager at the Museum of Northern Arizona. She is responsible for overseeing MNA’s exhibits building daily operations and managing the Visitor Experience team. She previously worked as the Bookstore and Publications Manager from August 2016 through May 2022 where, among other duties, she purchased items directly from artists and publishers for resale in the Bookstore and managed the production and sale of MNA’s publication, Plateau.
Samantha graduated summa cum laude with a B. A. in English from Northern Arizona University and has an M. A. in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona. She was recognized at U of A’s School of Information as a Distinguished Graduate Scholar.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering as a Board Member for the Hopi Education Endowment Fund, and trail running.
