Giving from IRAs & Donor-Advised Funds
Give to MNA from Your IRA
Did you know you can make a powerful impact with your Individual Retirement Account (IRA)? If you’re 70½ or older, you can gift up to $105,000 per year directly to MNA. If you’re 73 or older, this can even count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
By making a contribution from your IRA, you may realize significant tax planning benefits–all while supporting MNA’s mission to share the art, science, and culture of the Colorado Plateau. We encourage you to consult with your financial advisor to see how a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) may benefit you.
To make a QCD directly to MNA from your IRA, please contact your IRA Administrator and provide the following information:

Give Through a Donor Advised Fund
The Museum of Northern Arizona welcomes contributions made through Donor Advised Funds (DAFs). A DAF is a private charitable account created to manage and distribute donations on behalf of an organization, family, or individual. It is maintained by a sponsoring organization with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status, and allows donors to contribute cash, securities, or other assets while receiving an immediate tax deduction. Donors can then recommend grants to charitable organizations over time.
You can request a grant or donation to MNA directly through your DAF:
