Ali Applin
Ali has over 25 years of marketing and business development experience in various settings. She has helped corporations, nonprofits, small startups, and educational institutions design and promote products and programs across multiple platforms. Ali currently serves as the Director of Community Relations for Northern Arizona University, where she works as a collaborator, connector, and idea generator between the university and the local community. Ali’s experience working for a nonprofit association, county, community college, and private startup has enabled her to move among various stakeholder groups and form strong connections and partnerships.
She has served on several boards, including High Country Humane, Flagstaff Women’s Leadership Network, United Way Events Committee Cochair, Flagstaff Shelter Services, STEM City, Advisory Board Member for Goodwill, and Tynkertopia.
Ali loves living in Flagstaff and taking advantage of all the great hiking, mountain biking, and skiing the mountain town offers.
