Grace Lau, CFA, has been a professional money manager since she graduated from George Washington University Business School in the seventies. Her career included working at Standard & Poor’s, First Interstate (Wells Fargo), Northern Trust, and Barclays International Private Banking. In 1997 she founded Pacwest Financial Management in Phoenix, a registered investment advisor that specializes in private wealth management. In 2017 her firm merged with Benefit Financial Services Group, and she is the Managing Principal of the Phoenix Office and an equity partner of the combined firm. Grace earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin. She went on to earn her MBA specializing in International Business & Finance at George Washington University. She is also an Honor Graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Grace has served as the Chairman of the City of Phoenix Deferred Compensation Board, the President of the Phoenix Chartered Financial Analysts Society, the Vice-Chairman of the Investment Advisory Council of the Arizona State Retirement System, and a trustee for the Arizona Educational Foundation, the Arizona Community Foundation, the University of Wisconsin (Eau Claire) Foundation and Social Venture Partners of Arizona. Currently she is a trustee for the City of Phoenix Firefighters #493 EB Trust Fund and a board member of Museum of Northern Arizona and trustee of the Endowment Fund. Grace is a native of Hong Kong and has lived in United States for most of her life. She has been married to Charles Tsui for almost four decades. Their only child, Cathleen Yu, also lives in Phoenix with her husband Edwin and they have three young boys. She is in law and he is in medicine.
