Fun begins at 5 pm with a Silent Auction, Drinks and Hors D’oeuvres on the museum’s patio. At 6 pm table seating and “Lucky Money” fundraiser begins followed by dinner and dessert under the Big Top. Program will include a guest speaker. The gala ends with a lively auction of wonderful treasures and experiences. Attire is Flagstaff Fancy.
Traditionally in Asian cultures, for the Lunar New Year “Lucky Money” was placed in a small red envelope and given to children as a wish for luck and wellness in the upcoming year.
Party on the Plateau is the Museum of Northern Arizona’s foremost fundraiser, and this year, the event’s theme is inspired by the lucky convergence of the Chinese Year of the Dragon and MNA’s “Grand Canyon Dragon Map” exhibition opening in May.
