Sunday, September 15 @ 1:00 p.m. in the Museum of Northern Arizona’s Branigar Chase Discovery Auditorium

Undercurrents: The Hopi Experience of Working for the Fred Harvey Company is a presentation by Colleen Lucero, founder of the Hopi Harvey Project. Lucero has spent a decade documenting the stories of Hopi elders who worked for the Fred Harvey Company. She will discuss these stories and  how conquest, commerce, and fictional narratives transformed Native American life during the 19th-century travel boom.

This talk intersects with the museum’s Selling the Southwest exhibit.

This talk is free to Museum members. General Museum admission fees will apply to non-members.
