Sherra Lyon
Sherra Lyon currently serves as Vice President, Commercial Banking at Alliance Bank of Arizona. Sherra has been in the professional financial services sector since she graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1990 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. Her professional career began in Phoenix as an independent auditor and tax professional with McGladrey and Pullen CPA firm. She was also the Director of Finance for a mid-sized family business prior to beginning her career in Commercial Lending in 2004. Sherra is a Certified Public Accountant and graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Sherra specializes in helping businesses and non-profit organizations succeed by providing financial tools and resources to grow and manage their business. Sherra was born in Texas and spent a good deal of her youth travelling as a daughter in an Air Force family. She returned to Northern Arizona in 1998 to raise her daughter and live in the beautiful place she loves to call home. Sherra is the current Treasurer of the Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance, serves on NAU Franke College of Business Finance Advisory Council and the MNA Financial Audit committee and has volunteered with several other non-profits in Flagstaff. She enjoys spending time outdoors with family, friends and a variety of pets exploring our magnificent state and region.
