Nature Journaling

Nature journaling is an immersive and creative way to enjoy the natural world all around us. Join avid nature journalist and artist Christine Snyder as she teaches the foundational skill sets needed to tune into creativity and sharpen observational skills. Each class will focus on a specific topic, teaching you how to quickly sketch and paint the subject using the ink-and-wash method, and end with an exploration into the Colton Garden to practice your newly found skills.

By the end of each class, you will have the confidence to venture into nature on your own and creatively document what you discover.

Classes are for every skill level and minimal materials are required. Join us to learn a new creative skill, get outside, and most importantly, not take ourselves so seriously and have fun!

Each class is designed for flexibility, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every other Sunday, $20 per class. Classes are held in the Guernsey Building at the Museum of Northern Arizona’s Discovery Village. Please email Christine at christine@christinesnyderartworks.com to sign up for each class.

You will receive a confirmation email with more details and a materials list.
