Family Game Day

Family Game Day with Navajo Highways, Hopi R2, Indigenous Games, and Special Book Event
MNA members are Free! Non-members pay regular Museum admission. Kids 9 and younger are Free!
Bring the entire family to MNA for this fun-filled day!
10 a.m.-3 p.m.: Indigenous games for all ages, plus a demonstration by Gregory Hill (Hopi/Quechan) of artistic play with his hand-carved spinning tops. Meet artist Duane Koyawena (Hopi) and Hopi R2!
1-2:30 p.m.: A special performance of Navajo Highways, a live puppet show that celebrates the Diné (Navajo) culture and language. It’s for kids and adults alike!
3-4:30 p.m.: A conversation and book signing with Barbara Poley (Laguna/Hopi) and Nora Naranjo-Morse (Kha’p’o Owenge). They will present their wisdom from the recently released book, Worlds within Us: Wisdom and Resilience of Indigenous Women and Elders.
