Thursday Spring Break Activity — Fossil Mania!

March 14 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Program begins promptly at 1:00 at the Museum of Northern Arizona’s Research Center Brady Building. All supplies and materials will be provided.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at fossils in the Brady Building from extinct animals from the Colorado Plateau, and make your own imprint dinosaur fossil! The Brady Building houses the Museum’s paleontology and geology collections. This structure was built with National Science Foundation funds in 1966 and contains six offices, a conference room, dark room, vault, storage areas, study areas, and preparation rooms. It is named for longtime MNA geologist “Major” Lionel Brady.

Please note: The Brady Building is located across the street from the Museum on MNA’s Research Center campus. Directions: From N. Fort Valley Rd/Highway 180, turn right on Winding Brook Road (where the Peaks Assisted Living Facility is located). Drive up Winding Brook Road and at the stop sign, turn left. Drive toward the end of the parking lot, and park in any available spot. The Brady Building is building #37.

Admission for Thursday’s program is free of charge.
