Susan Deaver Olberding

sdopicSusan Deaver Olberding is an independent historian focusing on northern Arizona. Through her love of history, she tells the stories of the area. She also works toward preservation of historic buildings that illustrate and document our wonderful past. For the past two decades, she has authored over forty articles, presented, interpreted, and promoted the magnificent history of northern Arizona including the history of the Museum of Northern Arizona (MNA) and the U.S. Forest Service Fort Valley Experimental Forest Station where she volunteers as an archivist. She is the owner/publisher of Fort Valley Publishing and has produced four books. She has a Master’s in History from Northern Arizona University.
