A Note on Winter Traffic: The museum is on the road that leads to the Arizona Snowbowl ski area, so traffic can become busy in the winter at specific times. This doesn’t affect coming to the museum, because the morning ski traffic is gone before the Museum opens. However, on winter weekends and holidays you may want to plan your museum visit so you can leave by 3 pm, which will be before the rush of traffic leaving the ski area.
