Grand Canyon contains more than a thousand springs, and at least 50 springbrooks that are among the few remaining pristine perennial streams remaining in the Southwest. In this talk Dr. Larry Stevens, MNA’s Curator of Biology will explore springs hydrology and ecology, stream processes, and the biodiversity of, and threats to conservation of this verdant drainage network in the Canyon.
